Divine Blessings for Moms - Provision, Ability, Identity Unveiled
Feb 03, 2024As mothers, we often find ourselves in situations where we feel overwhelmed, underprepared, and unsure of our identities. However, it's important to remember that we are not alone. We have a divine helper who provides us with everything we need, equips us with unique abilities, and reminds us of our true identities. In this blog post, we will delve more deeply into these three aspects: Divine Provision, Divine Ability, and Divine Identity.
In our God, we have all that we need, we can do all things, and we can be all that He wants us to be.
"All" means being the utmost possible of; the whole.
Divine Provision - We have ALL that we need!
God's provision is something that we can rely on in every circumstance. Whether it's financial, emotional, or spiritual needs. His provision is always sufficient.
No. 1 on our list is understanding the extent of this divine provision.
As mothers, we often worry about providing for our children's needs. However, we can find comfort in the fact that God is our ultimate Provider. His provision goes beyond our physical needs and extends to our emotional and spiritual well-being. He provides peace in the midst of chaos, comfort in times of sorrow, and joy in times of happiness. Understanding and accepting God's divine provision allows us to let go of our worries and focus on being the best mothers we can be.
We do have a part to play in order to come in agreement with God's blessings of provision. In God's economy, the more we give away the more we receive. His ways are not our ways!
Divine Ability - We can do ALL things!
Next up, No. 2, is recognizing our divine ability. Every mother has been uniquely equipped with certain skills and talents to raise her children. These abilities are not a coincidence; they are a divine gift.
Whether it's the ability to soothe a crying baby, the strength to juggle multiple tasks at once, or the wisdom to guide our children through life's challenges, these skills are a testament to God's divine ability within us. Recognizing and harnessing these abilities empowers us to be confident and effective mothers.
Although our family relies on us to do a lot, it is important for us to remember that we don't have the strength on our own to do all that we need to do. Joyce Meyer says it like this: "We have all of God's strength available to us ALL the time. We may feel weak in ourselves, but God's strength proves itself most effective when we lean and rely completely on Him. The key to strength is not working harder or trying to act strong when you are crumbling inside. It is in surrendering your heart to God and trusting in Him."
Meditate on these scriptures and get them in your heart. When we are weak God is strong. The way you see yourself is the way you will be. Choose strength over weakness!
Divine Identity - We can be ALL that God says we are.
Finally, No. 3, which really should be the first point, because we won't be able to have the "ALL" and do the "ALL" until we BE THE "ALL". The first two come out of who we are in Christ and knowing, and living out, our true identity. It is so crucial to understand how the Father sees us, His beloved daughters.
In our world where we are often judged by our careers, social status, and physical appearance, it's easy to lose sight of our true identities. However, our identity is not defined by the world's standards but by God's.
As mothers, we are more than just caregivers. We are beloved daughters of God, chosen and appointed to raise His children. This divine identity gives meaning to our roles as mothers and reminds us that we are important in God's eyes. Embracing our divine identity allows us to see ourselves as God sees us: valuable, loved, and chosen.
In Conclusion, motherhood is a divine blessing that comes with divine provision, ability, and identity. As we understand and embrace these treasures, we can navigate the journey of our calling as "Moms" with grace, wisdom, and joy!
